My principal residence is within the Wairarapa General Constituency area.

Born and raised in the Wairarapa and from a multi-generational farming family, I understand what makes this region special. As a hill country sheep and beef farmer, and through businesses in technology and tourism, I understand the challenges facing our communities, environment and local economy.

Wairarapa needs a strong, independent voice as local government reorganisation gets underway. I support democratic decision-making, genuine community consultation, and environmental protections that are practical, effective and based on local knowledge. We need to carefully consider both the opportunities and the costs of change, ensuring Wairarapa’s communities are not left worse off.

My priorities are affordable, resilient infrastructure, effective flood and catchment management, and ensuring ratepayers receive value for money. We can protect our rivers and land, support productive farming and business, and keep decision-making close to our communities.
