Update 3/2/22 - this event has been postponed until 2023

We have made the decision to postpone our Kaitoke Whānau Summer Day event until next year due to move to the Red Traffic Light. Keep an eye out next year for our Summer Events 2023.

Stay safe and look out for each other.

If you’re looking for an adventure your whole family can enjoy, make sure you get this in your calendar. From ancient rainforests to the home of Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings. This day will help you make unforgettable family memories.

We’ve jam-packed the day with experiences that will bring your whānau together. Take part in the scavenger hunt, feed the eels, join a guided walk, or play some classic outdoor games. Feel free to bring a picnic or make the most of the food trucks on-site while listening to the tūī. Make sure you bring your togs so you can cool off in the crystal-clear water of the Te Awa Kairangi River. This is a day you don’t want to miss!

If you let us know you are interested in attending our events via our Facebook page, we will be able to ensure you’ll receive important information and updates including postponement or cancellation due to weather or COVID-19 changes.

Vaccine passes are required for anyone above the age of 12 years, 3 months to attend this event. Please have your My Vaccine Pass ready on arrival.
