Future Restoration mahi in the Wellington region

Join us for the final session of the Restoration Week te taiao webinar series: Future of Restoration mahi Wellington region.

This webinar focuses on some of the future priorities of the region. We’ll hear from 2023 Environmental Wellingtonian of the Year Paul Ward from Capital Kiwi (creating the conditions of guardianship required to live alongside our manu taonga), James Willcocks from Predator Free Wellington (the city’s growing readiness for the bold vision of being predator-free), and from Wellington City Council’s Henk Louw (the key goals for environmental restoration projects across the city).

Te taiao webinar series includes 6 one-hour sessions run over 6 days. Each day will focus on a separate key area of te taiao restoration across the Wellington region.

Hosted by Nick Tansley, local experts will be sharing updates on various topics including waterways, coastlines, pest animals, pest plants, community successes, and the future of restoration across the region.
