Riversdale Dunes Community Planting Day

Join Greater Wellington, Masterton District Council, and the Riversdale Beach Community Association for a day in the dunes to help improve the resilience of our dunes protect our coastal areas.

Together we’ll be planting native spinifex and pīngao in the dunes as part of a wider restoration effort taking place at Riversdale.

Bring your own spade, water and snacks. We’ll finish off with a BBQ where there will be time to ask questions about the dune restoration project.

All ages welcome, children must be supervised. Make sure you dress up warm and bring a rain jacket.
