Earn your Tamariki Ranger Badge!
Join us for a hands-on day with the Greater Wellington park rangers at Battle Hill Farm Forest Park! This event is designed for tamariki aged 7–12 and offers a chance to explore nature, learn new skills, and earn their very own Tamariki Ranger badge.
Children will team up with their adult for a self led adventure around the park taking part in a series of fun and educational activities including feeding eel/tuna, herding sheep, shelter building, spotting pest footprints and more. Along the way, they’ll discover how our park rangers care for nature and the community, and why Battle Hill is such a special place.
This event is delivered in partnership with Bush Sprouts Nature School and Friends of Battle Hill, who bring their expertise in outdoor learning and play.
