For over 20 years, the annual Restoration Day has given networking and learning opportunities to keen conservationists in the Wellington region. The event recognises and thanks the efforts of local volunteers.
This year, you’re invited to join us for Restoration Week 2023. From 21 – 28 May, we have an exciting line-up of events planned. Webinars, wānanga, workshops and free giveaways are on offer!
Join us to learn new restoration skills, share stories and information, and connect with fellow conservationists and experts. Check out the programme below and event descriptions for more details, or contact restorationday@gw.govt.nz.
This is a collaborative event delivered by Greater Wellington, Department of Conservation, Wellington City Council, Porirua City Council, Mountains to Sea Wellington, Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira, Kapiti Coast District Council, Hutt City Council, Upper Hutt City Council, Te Herenga Waka Wellington University, Wellington Zoo, and Zealandia.
There are a range of different prizes up for grabs each day of Restoration week. To be in the draw, all you need to do is register for the day’s activities. Winners announced at the end of Restoration Week.
