Battle Hill Farm and Farm Day

Battle Hill Farm Forest Park is a working farm. Every day something new is happening.

As a visitor to the park, you can see it in action. From the ramp up to the Ken Gray Education Centre in the woolshed, you have a great view over the stock yards as sheep move in and out.

Depending on the day and the time of year, you might get to see new born lambs or the farmers shearing the sheep. Keep in mind, this is a working farm not a display farm, so there are no guarantees in terms of which activity is happening the day you decide to visit.

The annual Battle Hill Farm Day

Thousands of people come to this annual event to see a real live farming in action. You can stand in the Ken Gray Education Centre and watch as the farmers shear sheep, or play in the hay and feed the chickens.

Keep an eye out for the next farm day and other events.
