Search in document library
This technical report assesses the state and trends in
fresh water allocated through resource consents in the
Wellington Region, with the trend assessment spanning
the period 1990 to 2010. The report also assesses the
'water availability', and uses data collected as part of
Greater Wellington's State of the Environment hydrological
monitoring programme (ie, rainfall, river flow and ground-
water levels) to analyse trends in hydrological factors that
affect water availability. The hydrological trends assessment
largely focuses on the period 1980 to 2010 (1994 to 2010
in the case of groundwater levels).
