This report presents revised Sustainability for Recreation
Grades (SFRGs) for 100 fresh and coastal water
recreation sites in the Wellington Region. A SFRG describes
the general condition of the water at any given time (for
recreation) based on both microbiological risk and actual
indicator bacteria counts. In this report, microbiological
water quality data collected over the 2006/07 to 2010/11
 summers underpins the assessment.
