This publication reviews the vision, strategy purpose and
strategy development of Greater Wellington Regional
Council's (GWRC's) cycling strategy. Included are the
roles and responsibilities of the Regional Land Transport
Committee (RLTC), GWRC, Road Controlling Authorities
(RCAs) , Transfund New Zealand, Land transport Safety
Authority (LTSA), Regional Public Health Service (RPH),
and Cycle Aware Wellington (CAW). The report also
outlines the strategy structure.
