The Regional Land Transport Committee has prepared a
Wairarapa Corridor Plan (2003-2008) for the area from
Masterton to Upper Hutt. The Plan looks at the transport
needs of the Wairarapa over the next five years and
beyond and makes recommendations for the development
of roads, rail freight and public transport.

The aim is to try and achieve a balanced transport
network within the Wairarapa that's fully integrated with
the rest of the region.
