The Waiwhetu Stream is a small slow flowing stream, which arises in the
Eastern Hutt Hills above the Hutt Valley.

This document contains a community vision for the Waiwhetu Stream
corridor. It has been prepared by the Waiwhetu Stream Working Group
(WSWG), in association with the local community and other interested
parties, in response to the need for a blueprint for the rehabilitation of this
important stream.

The vision is supported by this Action Plan, a set of actions which the
Working Group believes must be taken to realise the community’s vision.
