Clear river pools

Pakuratahi river near Forks

The Hutt River has several deep swimming pools. Take care, the water is cold and can be swift.

The Pakuratahi River and Farm Creek offer shallower paddling and swimming spots suitable for younger children. There are changing facilities at the Pakuratahi Forks carpark, under the bridge to Rivendell.
