Wellington: Battle Hill Farm Forest Park Working Bee
The plants are waiting, longing to go in the ground, so please join us for a planting day...
We will be releasing the plantings we made last winter in the wetland, and planting some more.
We will provide hand sanitiser, hot drinks (bring something to share for afternoon tea). There will be some planting tools.
Please RSVP by email to Pene at firstname.lastname@example.org - we need your name, phone number and address for contact tracing.
(This is a COVID requirement - lists will be destroyed a month after the event if not needed for this purpose, and will not be used for any other purpose)
Bring: Warm, old clothes (it will be muddy!), rain jacket, gumboots, gardening gloves and hand tools for weeding, good hygiene practices* and a smile.
* Please don't come if you feel unwell - not only do we all want to stay well, but the event is quite physical.
For more information please call Pene at 021 159 2409. Note there is no cell coverage in most of the park.
