Great Outdoor Summer Events

Hold on, it's almost here...

On Wednesday 3rd December you can get your hands on the 2015 Summer Programme!

Explore the regional parks on your doorstep with our Great Outdoors Summer Events programme. We offer more than 50 events set in some of the region’s most spectacular landscapes. Nearly all events are within one hour’s drive of Wellington city, hosted by local experts and many are free. Events take place in all of our regional parks and forests between January 3 and March 29, 2015.

Some events with maximum numbers need to be booked in advance. You can do this from December 3 by contacting the bookings officer at bookings@gw.govt.nz or 04 830 4041.

Jump on our Facebook  to learn more about what we do and get updates and new information about our Summer Events.

If you would like to join our mailing list to be notified when bookings become available please email bookings@gw.govt.nz with your name and contact information.
