Hike the Remutaka Rail Trail
$40 per person includes afternoon tea and entry to the Fell Museum in Featherston

Join a local historian on a long (17km) but straightforward five hour scenic walk, exploring our unique railway history. The walk will begin on the Kaitoke side of the trail and head to Cross Creek in the Wairarapa. Afternoon tea is at Featherston’s Fell Museum to round off what we have seen en route.
What you need to know:
Meet at Upper Hutt train station and catch a bus together to the start of the trail.
Get picked up by the bus at Cross Creek at the end of the walk. Bus will stop in Featherston for afternoon tea then drop you back at the Upper Hutt train station.
