Gollans Valley Adventure

Description

Explore the off-track heart of the park in a guided tramp.  We start with a short trip along the road to the Kowhai Track to walk on formed tracks to Butterfly Creek before going bush following the Gollans Stream.  Then its a steep climb of an hour up to the Hawtrey trig track and out to the cars on Muritai Track.  Be into win a spot prize from Dwights Outdoors.  

Max 30 people, bookings essential. 

 Fit only.  Must be able to walk off track for 6 hours. Wet foot crossings.

What to bring:   Always take a backpack with a waterproof jacket, warm clothes, tramping boots or strong lace-up shoes, water and picnic lunch/snacks.  On trips longer than two hours take thermal leggings, a long-sleeved top, warm hat and gloves.  Always take a sun hat and sunblock.

Meet at the Muritai Track entrance between numbers 259 and 261 Muritai Road, Eastbourne.  Public transport available.
