Community Planting Day – Te Ara O Whareroa Track Whareroa Road
Follow signs from Poplar Ave. entrance - Raumati South for a morning of tree planting!
Greater Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington) is taking care of the things that matter – but we can’t do it without your help!
You’re invited to join us at Queen Elizabeth Park to #LeafYourLegacy and help us plant over 20,000 native plants in Queen Elizabeth Park this winter.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Follow signs from the end of the Whareroa Beach carpark. The planting site is next to the steep stairs off to the side of the Te Ara o Whareroa trail (towards Raumati).
WHAT TO BRING:
Spades and gloves will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Remember to check the weather and dress appropriately so you don't freeze out there, to help you warm up afterwards enjoy a hot drink and biscuits on us.
