States:
- The first map shows Water clarity (m) results for the period 2018/19 to 2022/23 benchmarked against National Objectives Framework (NOF) guidelines.
- Modelled grades (coloured lines on the map) are shown for River Environment Classification reaches order three and above. See methods for details on modelling and benchmarks.
Trends:
- The second map shows estimated trends for each site. Use the top right toggle "Trend period" controls to switch between trends over different length periods, going back as far as 2008/09.
- Full trends methodology is available on the LAWA website.
- Flow adjusted trends are selectable in the top right "Series" options, this will also switch values in the table.
- Note that series with too many censored values can still have a trend estimated but the rate is marked 'N/A' in the map hover labels and table.
Map: Drag and scroll on the map to move and zoom in on areas of interest, hover over map features to see more information, and use the options boxes (checkboxes/toggles) to show and hide layers.
Table: Click on rows to highlight those sites on the map and click on table headers to sort the data by that column – holding the shift key allows sorting over multiple columns. The coloured lines underneath trend rates match the trends map legend, hold the cursor over trend cells for full information.
