Help us manage flood risk in the Lower Ruamāhanga Valley

Greater Wellington Regional Council manages land and water alongside communities across our region. We value the knowledge and skills of many individuals who work with us on specialist advisory committees.

Get involved with flood risk management where you live. Become a member of the Lower Ruamāhanga Valley Floodplain Management Advisory Committee. Members will work to balance cost effective flood management solutions with environmental, cultural and recreational concerns along the Ruamāhanga River south of Greytown to Lake Onoke.

Come along to one of our committee nomination meetings and put your name forward. We are looking for representatives for eight scheme areas so make sure you come to the right meeting.
