Te Kopahou Possum Control

Te Kopahou Possum Control

Updated 24 July 2019 2:44pm

Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) is working to protect and enhance our region’s native habitats and rural economy. Possums can devastate our forests and carry tuberculosis which can infect cattle.

GWRC’s Bioworks will be controlling possums in the Te Kopahou and Makara area, west of Wellington City, from early February 2017. This pest animal control will take place on public and private land.
