Join the Wellington Botanical Society on an overnight field trip to botanise some of the most interesting forest on the Kapiti Coast.

Day 1: Botanise Te Rama QEII Open Space Covenant – impressive mature coastal forest.
Day 2: Nikau Reserve, Paraparaumu.

Accommodation:   House courtesy of covenant owners.   Pot-luck dinner;

Getting there:

Day 1 - 9.30 a.m. in car park on south side of Te Moana Rd, near the lights at its junction with SH1, Waikanae.   Day 2 - 9.30 a.m. in parking area on east side of SH1, beside reserve.   If coming from the south, exit SH1 onto Nikau Palm Road and turn left immediately past SH1 overbridge.
