Weddings

The regional parks and forests are a popular location for weddings. You will need to contact the park ranger and apply for a concession if you are interested in having your wedding in one of the regional parks or forests. 

Weddings at Battle Hill Farm Forest Park 

Very popular for wedding ceremonies and photographs, Battle Hill's traditional farm setting helps create unforgettable images of your perfect day.

There is no charge to take wedding photographs in the park. However, we do not reserve sites for non-commercial photography purposes.

Please contact the ranger to reserve particular sites in the park for your wedding ceremony, including the garden around the homestead.

The following charges apply:

• $200 for the ceremony

You will need to arrange your wedding reception elsewhere. You must reserve a space with the Park Ranger and apply for a concession online.

Weddings and Receptions at Kaitoke Regional Park 

Very popular for wedding ceremonies and photographs, Kaitoke's tranquil beechforest clearings with their open understoreys help create unforgettable images of your perfect day.

There is no charge to take wedding photographs in the park. However, we do not reserve sites for non-commercial photography purposes.

The following charges apply:

• Ceremony only $200
• Ceremony and function $500 (plus bond at discretion of park ranger)
