Easy rolling coastline

Dog walking at QEP - Jessica Dewsnap

The natural rolling dunes and wetlands of Queen Elizabeth Park are popular for walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.

You may walk throughout the park. The coastal dunes in particular are fragile environments, vulnerable to erosion. Farmland in the northern and southern areas of the park is leased for grazing livestock. Please keep to the marked tracks in both the dunes and the farmland, and avoid farm animals as necessary.

Two main tracks run reasonably parallel with the beach, with marked routes connecting each to the other, and to the beach.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome at Queen Elizabeth Park except on farmland or wetlands to protect wildlife.

Keep them under control and remove droppings, especially from picnic areas.
