Cycle Aware Wellington: Wellington based cycling advocacy group that aims to encourage cycle use, improve cycling conditions and safety for cyclists and improve the image of cycling.

Kapiti Cycling Club: A cycling club that promotes road riding and racing on the beautiful Kapiti Coast of New Zealand. They hold regular training rides throughout the year and a summer series of racing.

Kapiti Cycling Inc: Cycling advocacy group set up by, and for cyclists on the Kapiti Coast to promote and encourage cycling.

Hutt Multisports Club: Based in the Hutt Valley and run a number of events including a winter mountainbike duathlon series and a pool triathlon in the Wellington region.

Hutt Valley Mountainbike Club: Organises regular mountain bike rides and events.

Masterton Athletics : Organise regular competitive road cycling events and also training rides in Masterton.

Onslow Tarbabies  : Road cyclists training for Taupo and looking to keep fit in middle age. Have regular training rides and other cycling activities. For full programme subscribe to their email newsgroup or contact Peter Garty on 027 449 8455.

Orienteering Hutt Valley : This Hutt Valley based club run mountain bike orienteering (MTBO) events.

Port Nicholson Poneke Cycling Club Wellington based competitive cycling club that organises a full range of road, track and mountain bike events.

Wairarapa Multisports Club : Masterton based club that organises competitive multisport events as well as the Tour of the Wairarapa road cycling fun ride.

Wellington Hash House Bikers : Social non-competitive mountain bike club with fortnightly Sunday afternoon rides from different venues.

Wellington MTB Club

Wellington Triathlon & Multisport Club : Wellington based club that organises a variety of triathlons, including the Wellington sprint and standard distance championships, and duathlons over the year.

Wellington Veterans Cycling Club : Organises a variety of competitive road cycling events, road races and time trials, throughout the Wellington region. Time trials are open to all but road races are restricted to riders 35 and over. The club also organises the Lake Wairarapa Cycle Challenge road cycling fun ride.

BikeNZ : The new national umbrella organisation embracing Mountain Bike NZ, Cycling NZ, BMX NZ, NZ Schools Cycling, the Cycling Advocates Network (CAN), and NZ Masters Cycling. BikeNZ is responsible for the development of day-to-day (commuter), recreational and competitive cycling.

Mountainbike New Zealand : National body responsible for competitive mountain biking.

New Zealand Mountainbike Web:  A very informative site with comprehensive information on a wide range of topics from events and clubs to forums on advocacy, buy, sell, events, general discussion, and touring.

Vorb : The most popular cycling website in New Zealand. Inside Vorb you'll find forums about cycling, events, news, vaguely organised rides, videos and 1000s of photos.
