As you walk or ride through the parks and forests enjoy the bird and native plant life on the way.

Greater Wellington's animal and plant pest control programmes minimise adverse effects on our native flora and fauna, and help to restore healthy ecosystems. The programme includes pest monitoring, selected bait stations and 1080 drops, professional goat hunting and removal of pest plants.

Please take note of signs about control operations and comply with their messages.
