If you are an affected party, the applicant for a resource
consent may ask you for your written approval before they send
their application to Greater Wellington. If the applicant
gets the written approval from everyone who is affected
and if the effects of the proposal are minor, then Greater
Wellington may process the application as non-notified.
Non-notified applications are not open for submissions.
If Greater Wellington identifies anyone who
is affected and does not want to give their written
approval, then Greater Wellington will process the application on a
limited notified basis, provided the effects of the proposal are
minor. All adversely affected parties – even those who have already
given their written approval – can make a submission on a limited
notified application.
