Description
For a number of years, the Island Bay Coast Care Group have been planting native grasses and sedges, and removing weeds from the Island Bay dune. This has helped reduce erosion, trap windblown sand and rebuild a natural habitat for native species of plants, insects and invertebrates like the native skink.
If you would like to join us and learn more about the South Coast, enjoy the spectular scenery, while meeting new friends and get some exercise and fresh air, come and give us a hand.
