Resource Advisor/Senior Resource Advisor

Greater Wellington is responsible for promoting the sustainable management of the Wellington region’s resources, including land, air, water and the coast.
The Environmental Regulation department is looking for an enthusiastic Resource Advisor who will work from our Wellington office. You will manage the resource consent process from the application stage through to compliance inspections, and be a part of our 24 hour response service.
If you display an exemplary background and experience, you will be considered for appointment at a Senior Resource Advisor level.
We are looking for a person who has:
- An understanding of the Resource Compliance and Consents process
- A technical background in one of the environmental sciences
- Commitment to excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to think logically, and be highly organised
- The ability to convey technical information to non-technical people
- Common sense and a sense of humour
