Public transport review
More than 2,000 people have taken part in a recent survey about Hutt Valley bus and train services as part of a review aimed at improving public transport services and increasing public transport usage.
The feedback has given the review team some very useful information about how people feel about their bus and rail services and highlighted some aspects that need further investigation.
The next step is to analyse information about how many passengers use each service and where they’re beginning and ending their journeys to help identify the services and routes that are most popular and those that are least used.
The review is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
