New electronic system

Greater Wellington is currently rolling out a new electronic system to replace Total Mobility vouchers with new electronic photo identification cards.

From 1 September 2010 all Greater Wellington Total Mobility users must have a Total Mobility photo identification card to receive the Total Mobility discount.

If you have not yet received a Total Mobility photo identification card you will need to send us a photo of yourself, please call us on 0800 801 700 or email info@metlink.org.nz.

Please note that Total Mobility vouchers issued from outside the region will still be accepted by approved taxi drivers and specialist transport operators but from 1 September 2010 the existing “pink” taxi vouchers issued by Greater Wellington will no longer be valid.
