Move It! Exploring Sustainable Transport Facilitator Guide
The Move It! Exploring Sustainable Transport Facilitator Guide was developed by Environment Canterbury to help support an inquiry-based programme of work for Year 5-8 students. Some of its components are specific to Canterbury and to urban Christchurch, and designed to complement the school travel planning work undertaken by Christchurch City Council. However there is much in the guide that may be adapted for use by schools and local authorities in other parts of New Zealand. The programme was also designed to work with in-class support from Environment Canterbury's education team. While some parts of the guide will be useful as stand-alone resource material, some will seem less complete, without the extra resources and trained facilitation that our education team provides.
Environment Canterbury is happy for all or part of Move It! to be used and adapted for educational purposes, provided the source of the material is acknowledged.
