Lake Onoke

This site monitors the water level in the estuarine lake at the mouth of the Ruamahanga River. Normally the lake level is tidal, unless the opening from Lake Onoke to the sea is blocked. This site has been operating since 1953. We also measure wind speed and direction at this site
