Ko te awa, te matapuna o te ora: Mai te maunga, tae atu ki te takutai moana
The Ōtaki River is a tupuna (ancestor) and mauri (life force) of Ngāti Rauwaka people. The awa has been long accessed as a rich source of food and rongoā (medicines). Come down to Chrystalls Bend where local practitioners from ONE Whare Rongoā will share stories and tikanga (customary practices) unique to this area. Max 30 people.
