Friends of Baring Head planting day « Back to Events calendar
Description:

Come along and help out the Friends of Baring Head for their planting day. Help the friends restore the unique and historical coastal landscape.

Wear warm clothes and sturdy shoes. Some tools will be provided but a spade and gardening gloves useful. Morning tea provided and good company guaranteed.

When: Saturday, 6th October 2012, starting at 10:00am (event finished 8 months ago)
Duration: 3hrs
Where: Meet at the car park by the bridge on Wainuiomata Coast Road - 16km from Wainuiomata,
Price/Cost: Free
Postponement date: Sunday, 7th October 2012, starting at 10:00am
Bring: Warm clothes, sturdy shoes, lunch. There will be a limited number of spades and gloves provided so it doesn't hurt to bring your own.

Getting there:

From Wainuiomata drive down Main Road and then Coast Road.

You will see a large East Harbour Regional Park sign and a bridge on your right. This is approximately 16km from Wainuiomata.
