Please note: Firewood is not available on the weekend 6-7 March due to Karapoti Classic taking place in the forest.
Logging operations may sometimes require forest users to take extra care. Each week a Weekly Event Calendar is produced for the Akatarawa and Pakuratahi Forests which notes these operations and any hazards that may be encountered.
