Explanation of graph types

The graphs that we use to display our groundwater data are called "Envelope Graphs". They show the actual recorded data in black and red (the data we provide for this website is a combination of both archived and raw data. The archived data is shown in black and the raw data is shown in red), the daily mean in blue, and the shaded area represents the minimum and maximum recorded values for that period in the year. See the example below for further clarification.
