Environmental Protection Award

Guidelines for nominations

This award acknowledges small and medium sized businesses who have a relationship with Greater Wellington based around pollution prevention, either through a Take Charge audit or as a result of a pollution incident. These businesses will be working to reduce their impact on the environment and become more sustainable, by developing workable solutions to everyday environmental issues such as business waste, recycling, energy efficiency, air discharges, and contamination.

Successful businesses will have significantly improved and be continuing to improve their environmental management and business practices.
