Environmental Protection Award
The Environmental Protection Award acknowledges businesses and individuals who are preventing pollution, reducing their environmental impact and making a contribution to environmental restoration and conservation.
Eligibility
For businesses/ individuals who have worked to improve environmental management and prevent pollution on their site/ at their business, either proactively through a programme such as Take Charge OR as a result of an environmental incident.
Criteria
- Resolving historical site issues
- Role of innovation in preventing pollution
- Improving staff awareness
- Communicating with others
