| Abstract: | The hills and shores on the eastern side of Wellington Harbour hold a
special place in the hearts of Wellingtonians. They have been used for recreation since the 19th century and for many years provided the only easily accessible experience of natural New Zealand available to residents of Wellington City. The East Harbour Regional Park Management Plan has been prepared to provide for the management of these lands. The plan is in two parts.
