| Abstract: | Greater Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington1) aims to involve
the region’s community in its decision-making processes. As a member of the region’s community, it is essential that you have the opportunity to comment on Greater Wellington’s policies, activities and priorities. There are several ways in which you can have your say: · voting to elect a councillor(s) to represent your interests · making formal submissions on Greater Wellington’s plans · having input into identifying community outcomes · initiating polls on electoral systems and Maori constituencies · submitting on and/or appealing representation arrangements · attending and speaking at Council and committee meetings · talking to councillors. |
