| Abstract: | This report investigates flow requirements for sustaining key ‘instream’
values of the Papaul Stream and its tributary Tilson’s Creek. These instream values include ecological, recreational and Maori cultural values relating to the stream’s environment. The report recommends minimum flows of 160 L/s in the Papawai Stream and 110 L/s in Tilson’s Creek; these flows should be considered for the next Regional Freshwater Plan. Other recommendations are also made. |
