Community Planting Day – along Whareroa Road from the model aircraft end back towards Ramaroa Back to Events calendar
Description:

Follow signs to Te Ara o Whareroa trail towards Poplar ave.  The planting is near the steep stairs off the trail. 

Greater Wellington Regional Council (Greater Wellington) is taking care of the things that matter – but we can’t do it without your help!

You’re invited to join us at Queen Elizabeth Park to #LeafYourLegacy and help us plant over 20,000 native plants in Queen Elizabeth Park this winter.

HOW TO GET THERE:

The planting site is half way down Whareroa Road towards the beach. You will see the GW vehicles parked on the side of the road. 

WHAT TO BRING:

Spades and gloves will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Remember to check the weather and dress appropriately so you don't freeze out there, to help you warm up afterwards enjoy a hot drink and biscuits on us.
