Updated 6 December 2017 4:33pm

The Campground at Battle Hill is fully booked from the 27th December through to the 31st December 2017

The sheltered and tree lined front paddocks of Battle Hill Farm Forest Park offer great camping sites, with a shallow stream and beautiful bush remnant close by. Wheelchair-accessible flush toilets and drinking (potable) water are also close at hand.

Please register with the ranger. Prior booking is essential as there are limited camping sites available.

Contact battlehillranger@gw.govt.nz or phone 04 237 5511 to check availability and book your site. You must register and pay your fees prior to setting up your campsite.

Camping fees are $6 per adult; $3 per child - 5  to 16 year olds (adult rates apply for unsupervised 14-16 year olds; under 5 year olds are free). Please note dogs are not permitted, including those left in vehicles.

Barbecues
You are welcome to bring your own portable gas barbecue.
