Belmont Regional Park at Transpower Tower 66a
This site was installed in July 2004 and is mounted at the top of a 44m high transmission tower. It was installed to investigate wind generation viability along with 3 other sites in the Regional Park. Greater Wellington is also investigating wind speed at Puketiro.
