Greater Wellington Regional Council is currently consulting on its Proposed 2011/12 Annual Plan. We invite you to have your say.
The Annual Plan is a requirement of the Local Government Act 2002 and contains information about Greater Wellington’s key projects for the 2011/12 financial year. The work programmes in this Proposed 2011/12 Annual Plan will contribute to the agreed community outcomes.
In conjunction with the Proposed Annual Plan 2011/12 Greater Wellington is consulting on:
- a proposal to join the Local Government Funding Agency (amendment to the 10-Year Plan 2009-19)
- the Proposed Dangerous Dams Policy
- the Proposed Resource Management Charging Policy (2011)
Submissions close 28 April 2011.

Key dates
- 28 March -28 April 2011: Period for receiving submissions on the Proposed 2011/12 Annual Plan and public meetings
- 19 May - 20 May 2011: Scheduled submissions heard by Greater Wellington.
Councillors and senior Greater Wellington staff members are also hosting a number of “drop-in” sessions around the region in April. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. The details for the drop-in sessions are available here.
