Regional parks and forests are enjoyed by Wellington region residents and visitors alike. The variety of landscapes offer natual settings for a wide range of activities - from walking, biking and horse riding through to camping, picnicking, photography, volunteering and events

As a result of upgrading over recent years, several of Greater Wellington's regional parks now offer settings that may be enjoyed by people with limited mobility or in wheelchairs.

Take yourself or your family, friends, club or church off camping in the regional parks and forests. There's a range of settings to enjoy, many with easy access to toilets and drinking water
