Southern Waiotauru at Kapakapanui
This site is located at an altitude of 1090m near the summit of Kapakapanui in the southern Tararuas and is on the divide between the Southern Waiotauru, Otaki and Waikanae catchments. It has been operating since September 1991. We also measure wind speed/direction in the Tararuas at our Cone Peak monitoring site.
