Ruamahanga at Bannister Basin
This site is located near Mt Dundas in the northern Tararua range. It records rainfall in the headwaters of the Ruamahanga River. The site is at an elevation of about 1000 metres and has been operating since 1974. We also measure wind speed/direction in the Tararuas at our Cone Peak monitoring site.
