Riversdale Lagoon
In 2006 this site was confirmed as being unsuitable for contact recreation due to a high degree of non-compliance with the national recreational water quality guidelines over the 2001-2006 summers and a high risk of microbiological contamination from such things as agricultural runoff, stock access upstream and waterfowl. Therefore, although we still monitor this site, it isn’t considered suitable for contact recreation purposes.
